#ADA2017 #learn #share
Glooko attended the 77th American Diabetes Association (ADA) Conference in San Diego, California in early June. The ADA conference offered 13,000 healthcare professionals from all over the world the opportunity to learn and share ideas about advances in diabetes technology, research, treatment, and care. Glooko was among the technologies showcased by key opinion leaders (KOLs) in the diabetes care field during many of the scheduled clinical sessions. At last count, our products were mentioned in 5+ sessions. It is great to have our mobile app and diabetes analytics be referred to as examples of best practices in diabetes data management!
Hundreds of providers, researchers, diabetes educators, and industry partners visited the Glooko booth to learn more about our population health and remote patient monitoring solutions, as well as our mobile insulin dosing system (MIDS) that is currently awaiting FDA 510K clearance. Clinicians from all over the world were interested in getting Glooko and integrating it into their practices to improve workflow and make diabetes management easier.
Our booth was hopping! It was so great to talk to everyone at the show!
Attendees also stopped by to learn more about our poster presentation, where we demonstrated that in retrospective analysis, a randomized sample within Glooko’s user group experienced improved glycemic outcomes after using Glooko for a period of time. More specifically, those users increased blood glucose testing, decreased hyperglycemia and improved average blood glucose.1 Look out for more studies coming from Glooko over the course of the next year!
We also hosted six in-booth presentations where we presented our Mobile Insulin Dosing System, information on the Glooko and Diasend integration, and ways to optimize treatment based on individual patient need.
It was great to be at the ADA this year! We learned a lot, shared a lot, and were incredibly excited about the prospects of using technology to improve the lives of people with diabetes!
